BMO Financial Group donates downtown building to the University of the Fraser Valley; CEPCO funds major renovations

In what will be the largest donation it has ever received, the University of the Fraser Valley will take ownership in early 2013 of the former BMO Bank of Montreal branch building at historic Five Corners in downtown Chilliwack.

As part of its Request for Proposal (RFP) process for the demolition of the Ewert Building and Paramount Theatre, CEPCO received three proposals that met the required criteria.

Below is a link to the Schedule of Prices submitted by the successful tender for this project, which was determined to be the most cost effective of the proposals submitted.

This project is expected to commence in November. Specific dates and timelines will be shared once finalized.
